Stefan and Damon decide on a new plan to deal with Katherine at the Lockwood's masquerade ball. Katherine calls on an old friend, Lucy, to attend the ball with her. Bonnie, Jeremy and Alaric all do what they can to help Stefan and Damon, but Katherine has a surprise planned that none of them could foresee. This is such an awesome episode! Always will be one of my favourites. Katherine is such a good character, Nina plays her extremely well. It was a really interesting episode that does not stop!

I love the differences between Elena and Katherine - although in later episodes she's more like Katherine than I'm comfortable with.  |

* Possible Spoilers if you haven't watched all of season 4!!* As the show goes on, I dislike Elena more and like Katherine more. I don't like what has happened to Elena since she became a vampire... Her transition was completely different from the positive changes it brought about in Caroline. Katherine is who she is, and that's awesome. She's one who has always embraced being a vampire and seeing her transition the other way, back to a human, will be interesting. I hope she doesn't lose her sass and fabulousness. Mad props to Nina though, she does a fantastic job portraying these very different characters!

She's just so bitchy and sassy but she's hilarious! Elena is just a bit meh. |
